Liquid Orange NuStevia Alcohol Free

Liquid Lemon NuStevia Alcohol FreeSo remember that time when I had a Stevia giveaway on blog? I’ve got another one for you today!

The nice folks over at NuNaturals contacted me to ask if I’d like to try their new orange and lemon flavoured Stevias. I thought about it for about 1.2 seconds, and then responded and said “heck yes, I’d love some free stuff thank you very much!” …but managed to do it in a slightly more professional manner.

Although I was eager to receive and try out the new stuff (and a HUGE thank you to NuNaturals for all the goodies I received: one bottle each of lemon and orange Stevia, as well as more vanilla Stevia, packets (which are great for Starbucks visits), and some Stevia in a little shaker thing which is super-handy since a little goes a long way), I must admit I was a little sceptical. Lemon and orange-flavoured things tend to taste, well, not so real. I LOVE citrus, but artificial, “lemon-flavoured” stuff? Not so much.

I am pleased to tell you just how surprised I was at both the lemon and orange Stevia. Wow! It seriously tastes like you zested a fresh lemon or orange right into your food!!! Even with the tiny amount of Stevia you use, the flavour is HUGE, and not artificial at all!

The new stevias have been adding a delicious twist of citrus flavour to my morning yogurt bowls. I’ve also tried the lemon Stevia in this fancy-pants looking drink you see to your left: sparkling lime Perrier, frozen berries and a few drops of lemon Stevia. A deliciously refreshing drink that would be perfect for summer entertaining, and is a great alternative to diet pop.

Don’t you want to try some now?!?!

Good to see you today :)

So i tried to like NuNaturals…maybe I am just bad at using facebook, but I couldn’t find anywhere to like them, so I added the company as a “friend”…does that count?

I LOVE anything chocolate orange….but it terms of my favourite orange dessert, it would have to be my homemade orange nanaimo bars…yum! As for my favourite lemon dessert, tofu cheesecake (which had lemon in it!).

What would I do with the stevia? For the orange, I’d add it to my mocha frappuccino light blended coffee at Starbucks. They featured raspberry and orange mocha frapps a few summers ago, and you can still ask for the added syrup, but this would be a great way to get the flavour combo I enjoy without all the extra sugar and calories!

For the lemon stevia, I often make cupcakes for birthdays, etc., so I think I’d try making a lemon cake base with the stevia.

There are a lot of other things I can think of. Thanks for sharing info on these!

I won the giveaway last time and it was awesome! I use the vanilla extract in my coffee for a little flava and the stevia I put in EVERYTHING!!!

  • OoOoO I’m glad you found another product you love!!

    I love that!

  • I am dying to try these in smoothies to add some flavor!
